Subtle Energies - Ayurveda Aromatherapy

The brand was founded in 1993 by Farida Irani in Sydney, Australia, as a clinic of natural therapies. Farida says: “The oils are the prana or the life force of the plant. When using essential oils, the prana of the oil is synergised with our own prana, bringing positive results to the skin, body and senses.” All of the Subtle Energies products are made in Australia and are cruelty-free, safe and ethical following European standards of natural skincare.

During the recent hot spells, we have come to rely on the Pure Indian Rose Hydrosol daily toner and hydrating mist for normal, dry and mature skin types. Free from preservatives and alcohol-free, it is a lovely cooling way (particularly if you store in the fridge) to revitalise tired skin. Not only does it improve skin tone (we are seeing results after just two weeks of use) but at the same time, it truly awakens and uplifts the senses.

Rose in Ayurveda is a gentle ‘Rasayana’, or rejuvenator, and we found the delicate floral aroma of the Subtle Energies  Pure Indian Rose Hydrosol really comforting. After a quick spritz, take one to two drops of the Facial Blend, warm in the hands and then apply to the face and neck area. This two-step process every day, harnessing the magical qualities of the rose, has resulted in skin that glows.
